Finding the pH of weak acids are probably one the the most time consuming problems of this unit. If you follow a small set of steps, it shouldn't be as difficult.
Step one: Write down the involved species and determine the dominant species to determine who will contribute the most H+
Step two:Write the equilibrium expression.
Step three: Proceed with ICE box and solve for x.
Step four: Solve for pH or H+

I agree in that they are some of the most time consuming problems of the unit, so comfortability and speed with them are most important, especially for our test on Thursday.
